Samsung has launched a new iteration of its Galaxy J5 smartphone, the J5 Pro. The device was launched in Thailand and is priced at 9,900 Thai Baht (approx 219,000). The latest addition to the J series comes with a 5.2-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and is powered by Rxynos 7870 octa-core processor backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera as well as a front facing camera.
It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated in the home button for added security. On the connectivity front, it offers Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi LAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, and NFC. It is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery but doesn’t support fast charging. Samsung is yet to confirm the availability of the device for the Indian market.
