Major details about Xiaomi‘s upcoming smartphone, the Redmi Note 5, have been leaked online, revealing the phone to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor and yet- unreleased MIUI 9 OS, reported Android Headlines. Redmi Note 5 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD (108Op) display and is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 626/630 processor, coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM with a storage option of 32GB/64GB, respectively.
The phone will feature a 16MP rear camera sensor and a 13MP front sensor. The phone is expected to be packed with 3790mAh with Quick Charge 4.0 and operate on Android Nougat 71.1 OS with Xiaomi’s Miul 9 OS atop. Xiaomi is likely to move the fingerprint scanner to the home button at the front of the device itself. The report also claims that Xiaomi will release the device later this month at a starting price of $200 (approx. R12,969).
